Egg Hunt: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
This year will be the 4th Annual Port Orange Easter Egg Hunt.
This event is a community collaborative effort to bring people together.
Come on out to the Port Orange City Center to enjoy fun activities, an egg hunt, and prizes!
Bounce houses and first responder meet & greet, and vehicle tours will begin at 10:00am so come enjoy the fun!
Keep your every open because the Easter Cow will be making a very special appearance.
This event is open to all ages and ages 0-12 are welcome to participate in the egg hunt.
How it works:
> Come on out for the festivities beginning at 10:00 am
> Listen for event instructions at 10:30 am
> The egg hunts will be in sections by age
Ages 0-6: will be in the community center parking lot (yellow perimeter)
Ages7-12: will be in the amphitheater area (blue perimeter)
> When you hear the sirens: that means GO!
The eggs are all plastic and do not have any contents as we try to be aware of your concerns.
After your children have collected eggs, bring them to the candy bank to exchange for candy!
Why? This allows us to reduce waste in our community and help parents navigate allergies and other concerns.
We will also accommodate gifted/special needs children to the best of our ability. Please see someone at the info booth/candy bank for directions.
There are hidden PRIZE eggs in each age section. We will reveal what these look like over the loud speaker at the event.
Remember: Prizes are FIRST COME FIRST SERVE, so after you find your Prize Egg, head straight to the amphitheater stage to choose your prize!
**ONLY ONE PRIZE/PRIZE EGG PER CHILD**
After the egg hunt:
We sometimes choose to have a raffle drawing 😉
Bounce houses will be open for a little while
Some first responders may stick around a little longer to interact with the kids.
Most of all, we want you and your family to have fun being a part of our community!
